Nepal Bungee Jump | Nepal Adventure Tour

The early morning we drive from Kathmandu to Last Resort by private tourist bus. It takes us 4 hours drive is bumpy and full of hairpin bends. We go to Last Resort through the Dhulikhel (it is famous place to see mountain view) and seeing panoramic view on the way. From Dolanghat you can see Indrawati River and Bhotekoshi River where has joined each other. Crossing the Dolanghat bridge and driving little bit ahead after that we leave Indrawati River and go following Bhote Koshi River up to Last Resort.

After reached at Last Resort, you take short refreshment then Bungee Master tells everyone everything will be fine or rules for bungee. Bungee Master holds you on to until last moment.  "Jumping is not natural to your brain like eating or drinking, so the brain tries to keep you safe, resists jumping," bungee master explains. There are two jump options offered at Last Resort. One is the regular 'head first' bungee jump which is done on rubber rope and provides about 2 to 2.5 seconds of free fall. The second is called swing, which is 'legs first' and secures about six seconds of free fall at a speed about 150km/h, and you end up swinging like a pendulum. It is steep but worth every vertical metre.

The stunning natural surroundings so close to Tibet make the jump an almost magical experience. You can book your bungee as a day trip by online or from Kathmandu or combine it with a stay and other activities.

Processing before bungee jump; on the day of your jump the jump master will first give a briefing. He then writes your weight on your hand and tells you in which group you will be jumping. If you have any medical problems, please discuss them with the jump master. They advise you to wear closed shoes for the bungee. Make sure your pockets are empty and know that cameras and bags are not allowed on the bridge. They provide safety deposit boxes for your valuables.

They will provide you Lunch after bungee did. You can relax with have beer or something. You can extend your trip in Last Resort where you can do hiking or Rafting in the Bhote Koshi or you can go to visit Nepal Tibet border from there. It is just 15 km away from Last Resort.
